The MAA’s highly successful exhibition ‘Body Parts: the art and application of medical illustration‘ was held at the Hunterian Museum, Royal College of Surgeons of England from September 20th – 9th November 2024. Now, Roger Kneebone, Professor of Surgical Education and Engagement at Imperial College London has written an in-depth and fascinating review of the exhibition in The Lancet. He says “The exhibition provides a window on to an area of expert skill that is often overlooked and undervalued, yet which profoundly influences our perceptions of health and disease and how our bodies work.”
