The application deadline is fast approaching on 2nd September, with interviews taking place at the Barber Surgeons’ Hall on 16th September. Applications are open now via the MAET website:
Submit at least 20 original pieces of creative work, drawn within the last five years.
All artwork must be created from direct observation.
Include general observational drawings.
Provide examples of watercolour or other colour media.
Showcase your graphic design work.
Include a minimum of 10 figure studies drawn from direct observation of a live model.
We are looking for applicants who:
Have a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrate artistic talent and creativity.
Are passionate about communicating science and medicine through art.
Are visual thinkers.
Excel in observational and life drawing.
