Kelly Cassidy

I am a qualified and registered Medical Artist. My career began in 2001 at the Bolton Hospital Medical Illustration Department and currently, I work as a Freelance Medical Artist and also serve as the Medical Graphic Artist within the Blended Learning Team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where I provide high-quality illustrations to effectively communicate medical topics.

Using digital software, I create visually appealing 2D, 3D, and animated artwork to accompany patient resources, research publications, training, and educational materials.

I specialise in providing artistic and graphic design expertise to the medical profession, enhancing the presentation of research and educational materials for patient care, teaching, and publications. The artistic styles employed are tailored to specific requirements, spanning from simplistic sketches to highly detailed 2D digital paintings or 3D digital models to be utilised in 3D animations, 3D printing or XR content.
